Seaspace International Attends the 83rd IASA General Assembly in Shenzhen

We were delighted to represent Seaspace International at the 83rd International Air Shipping Association (IASA) General Assembly, held last week in Shenzhen, China, one of the world’s most innovative and fast-moving logistics hubs.

Hosted by our valued partners at Patent Logistics (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd, the event took place from 15th–18th June and brought together 38 global members of the IASA network for a week of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and international connection.

The General Assembly began with a warm welcome and insightful informal presentation from Mr Edward Ouyang, Deputy General Manager of Patent Logistics, who shared the remarkable growth story of Shenzhen and its evolution into a global logistics powerhouse. This set the tone perfectly for the days ahead.

A key feature of the assembly was a series of structured 20-minute one-to-one meetings with international partners, designed to foster deeper relationships, explore new business opportunities, and address shared challenges in the air freight sector. From strategic discussions to operational improvements, each meeting helped strengthen the collaborative spirit that defines the IASA network.

As a long-standing member of IASA, Seaspace International values these gatherings as an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to global partnership, innovation, and delivering exceptional freight solutions to our clients.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Patent Logistics for hosting and to the IASA team for a well-organised and productive event. We’re already looking forward to the next assembly, and to turning the connections we made in Shenzhen into meaningful results for our clients around the world.
