Nick Hughes – Operations Director

Nick is a “second generation” freight forwarder following on from his father.

He started in the Industry in 1991 on a scheme called Freight Train with MSAS Cargo Now DHL. This allowed students to be placed in the work place learning and understanding all different aspects of the industry. “You never stop learning !!” says Nick.

In 1992 he won the most outstanding Trainee of the Year award an achievement that set him on the path of “bigger and better things”.

His career began in earnest in Heathrow running a successful courier department. Although he’d achieved great things Nick was keen to find something closer to home and in 2000 Seaspace presented itself as a contender worthy of his talents.

Nick enjoys the variety and challenge that each day brings and is dedicated to going beyond customers expectations.
